Brandywine scored the first try of the match after a kick was blocked deep in the Wilmington end, allowing Tim Wertz to scoop up the ball and touch it down for the score.
A back and forth battle would ensue as each team took the lead, and then squandered it away just as quickly. The Wilmington forwards were relentless in the tackle, causing many Brandywine turnovers.
In the end, Brandywine could not overcome their mistakes, and watched as Wilmington celebrated their victory, 31-24.
